SyllaSense Decodables follow a well-defined and robust Scope and Sequence.

Covering more than just grapheme/phoneme correspondence, our Scope and Sequence systematically lays out all of the literacy concepts found in each book. The books and Scope and Sequence are tightly aligned – if you do not see a concept in the Scope and Sequence, you will not see it in the books.

Our teacher resources support this tight alignment, and give tips and suggestions for teaching the concepts, including each introduced high-frequency word. At the end of our Scope and Sequence, notes are provided to define and explain the terms we use in our series.
